Odometer Adjustments 850 1995

I've been reading thru dozens of post regarding 850 odometer issues, ipd gears, DVD's, etc and I have a clear understanding of (I think ) the process, change, finding correct mileage, etc. Ok, Im good with that.
Here's my question, how do I adjust the odometer to the "correct" mileage?
Mines been broke for approx 15K miles, I want to correct it completly.
Thanks in advance for the input.

Odometer Adjustments - Clarification 850 1995

Sorry, it was way to late for me when I posted that.
Let me clarify. I have the DVD, gear, and am ready to do the work, (I even have an old odometer that I'm practicing on) but can's seem to figure how to adjust the mileage other that spinning the gear one tenth of a mile at a time. There has to be a better way.

Yes, there is a better way. Try securing the odometer unit to the very edge of a table with a clamp that has rubber where it will contact the odometer. Then, I used my drill with duct tape wrapped around the end of a drill bit because you don't want to wear down the gear teeth. Just touch the drill bit end to the round gear teeth and whallah! it takes quite a while to spin up the miles but you'll get there. Good luck!
