Size of CV nut 850

I'm planning on r&ring one of my wheel bearings tomorrow and I see I'll have to go shopping for a socket to remove the axel nut.

My 1 3/8" socket is slightly too small. Would a 1 1/2" work? Or is there a meteric size I should look for? 1.5" equals 38.1 mm. Does a 38 or 40 mm socket work for this bad boy?

Car is a 93 850 GLT, 285,000 miles. That's TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND miles!!! Holy sh*t!

It's metric. Seems like it was either 32mm or 34mm. Check Bay 13 or the Haynes manual.

Autozone will loan you any size for a deposit fee. They stock several sizes at most stores.
