Has the C70 been a good car?

My parents are looking at new cars. I was going to suggust a C70 to them, as I drive a 244 and have foudn it to be a great car. I know that the C70 and my car share very little, so, what can what expect with one of these cars. I have not noticed a lot of them, which is interesting, because I have seen a lot of other two door cars in my area, like the Lexus SC300/400s and 3 series etc. etc. Is there enegene/turbo options for thes cars that one should look for? Were there any really good years or really bad?
