HI!!!
I like yo know howe the immobilizer work in this V40.
My car start but die one second after the engine fire-up.

With this kind of symptom, the problem is most likely the antenna ring. It's not expensive, and doesn't require a download.

Anti-theft system—The Volvo Electronic Immobilizer makes vehicle theft extremely difficult. The immobilizer system permits the vehicle to be started only with the original ignition key.
