problems????

I have a 1996 850 turbo and don't understand all the problems everybody has. Please enlighten me. I take care of my vehicles with oil changes, read codes, replace strut mounts, gas tank etc timing belts etc. the usually replacement things, but don't have problems with "air pump" or other things. Mind you mine are garage kept. Does it have to do with the usual maintenance of a vehicle? Just being good to them?

    ...except for the air pump. I'm still waiting for that one.

    BTW at 134,000 miles my car still uses no oil, the 5-speed transmission still shifts like new and the clutch is original. If Volvo could learn about electronics from the Japanese these would be great cars!

    I haven't had any of these problems either (K.O.W.) and have just had regular maintenence and regular wear and tear repairs. Mine is garage kept but driven hard at times. My fear is the clutch which costs $1400.00 to replace. I have seen some that go into the mid 100,000 so I am holding out hope. I never use the AC so that hasn't affected me. . .
