Just wondering if anyone nows the manufacturer of the soundsystem/speakers in the 1998 V70 T5. Haven't heard a better car audio system and would be interested in installing a system from the same manufacturer in my 240.

Thanks for the complimentary comments below, guys.

The SC-8xx series of head units is made by Mitsubishi, not Alpine. Alpine only made the SC-900/901. The base speakers were also made by Mitsubishi. The Dynaudio speakers were not available from the factory, but only as a dealer/consumer installed upgrade.

Lots of posts on stereos in the past (here). The head unit is from
Alpine. Speaker sources vary (I think) with Dynaudio being the
best supplier. Sound will vary a lot by the placement
of the speakers so every car can sound different. You might

Thanks guys for your help. This is exactly what I thought but I wasn't sure. Hope by purchasing something from these brands I will be able to get sound quality somewhere near the awesome level in the v70.
