Spark Plugs and Wires for them. S70

Hello again,
I am also about to replace my spark plugs and the associated wiring.
I am not a ricer but I drive moderately hard. Therefore, I am seeking advice as to 1. What plugs to get? Where to get them? Does it make sence to use those expensive super platinum plugs if the car is automatic?
2. Where and What wiring will I need to replace? I dont think I will need those $100 per wire racing wires, or do I?

I bought the insurance estimate Volvo Book so I will soon get the parts and dealer price lists, but

Your 00 GLT has a turbo charged engine and I belive
platinum plugs may not be recommended for turbos'. I'd
go with OEM. If different plugs or wires improved performance
Volvo would use them since that is "cheap" power (compared
to what they did to get more power: muiltiple coils, variable
valve timing, turbo chargers, etc.). Basically, Volvo has
"taken" the easy performance upgrades.

www.volvoparts.com should list the prices for those items
(discounted as bit).

I have been running a set of Bosch +4 Platinum plugs for the last 100K miles. I removed them the other day and they look like the day I installed them. My milage has remained good, 26-27.5 mpg. (computer average) during this time. So I don't see any reason not to use platinum.

Because like he said, they aren't recommended. I would think the manufacturer(book)knows best.
