The ONLY way to R&R that pulley w/o damaging something is with a GM power steering pulley removing/install tool kit. I'm not sure if anyone but mechanic tool distributors (like SnapOn, Matco, Mac) sell those but I believe that the tool kit runs about $80. It might be better to just take the pump to a dealer or parts store that does that type stuff and pay them to switch pulleys.
OK, having said all that....do make sure that the noise IS the PS pump and not something else like the serp belt idler pulley/tensioner (less expensive and more likely to become noisy). PS pump failures are not common on 850s.
