Many times that SRS light will come on because corrosion on the cable contacts has prevented proper signal information from flowing to the computer. Look under the carpet on the "hump" on the driver's side. The cable coming from the SRS sensor runs under the carpet on the driver's side of the hump and along that hump you'll see a yellow connector. Over the years different things get spilled on the carpet in that area and seep into the connector and allow corrosion to build up. Pull the connector apart and clean the contacts very good, then plug it back together and clear the SRS code from the DLC boxes under the hood (B5 is the SRS terminal) (http://www.volvospeed.com/CheckEngine.htm). See if this fixes your SRS problem before you go out and spend $1k on a new crash sensor. Good luck ....... Mike
