It`s happened again! V70-XC70 2003

My wife took her XC70 to a local shop to have the Gislaved snows installed a few days ago & drove home, a distance of 20 miles. This morning she drove to the city which is a distance of 40 miles. She`d just gotten into the city limits when she noticed a serious vibration coming from the rear so stopped the car to check. Noticed immediately that 2 lugnuts were missing on rear wheel but as luck would have it, she was right beside a Ford dealership. Inched the car into the parking lot, a mechanic came out to inspect the wheel & found the other 3 were very close to coming off as well.
I`ve just phoned the tire shop to raise a little hell. This could have been fatal at highway speeds. The other day when my wife drove away from the tire shop she noticed almost right away they had forgotten to put the summer tires in the back of the wagon. The manager told her that was the third time this week that the shop guy had forgotten to put summer tires back in a customer`s car.
Guess that should have been a clue! This is the second time in two years that this has happened. I know the previous time, I vowed to check the wheels after a changeover but I didn`t heed my own advice.
I promise, I promise!!
Rich
