I have a 1998 V70 and would like to purchase VOL-FCR diagnostic software. I have not found any other OBD2 scanner or software that can connect to the engine, transmission, ABS, SRS and ECC controllers on a 1998 V70.

The UK company that sells VOL-FCR is not offering it in the US. If anyone has a purchased version of VOL-FCR that they no longer use and would like to sell (even the old version 3.0.6), let me know.

    i am in the same boat. I bought a cable and software from china. Hooked up to laptop and it is only a demo. Looks like it would be nice to get the full version. Have spent many hours looking for the full version and it is not available in the usa.

    I may have one shortly-- I ordered online before discovering that it would only work for the 97-98 V70, not the 2000 that I own.

    I will let you know for sure when it arrives.

      Hi Herb,

      Did you order an interface cable that also comes with software ? If so, the software is probably a demo version that has limited functions and cannot clear fault codes. I am looking for a full version of VOL-FCR.

        I think you can purchase the UK version, but I remember it being about $200. You could ask this question on http://www.volvoforums.org.uk or I can look for an answer.
