Getting "anti skid/ABS service required" in msg window plus ABS light on right side of instrument panel everytime I drive the car for about a wk. And eveytime I turn the car off-long drive or just around the block and then the nxt time I start it, abs light is on, drive off, hear abs module do self test and light goes off all is fine. Only to come back mins later. Did notice that when cruise control is engaged with abs light on, car will surge. Tested it when light was off and cruise works fine. Is there a code read out or how does one determine if its just a wheel sensor (hope) or the module (really hope NOT) Any help or guidance is appreciated and thanks.

Stop by an autoparts store and borrow a code reader. Lets hope it is just a dirty wheel sensor.

The cruise control is all electronic. I am surprised it even works with the ABS light on. A check engine light will turn off CC.

Depending on the code you get, check out www.xemodex.com for a repaired ABS module.

Thanks Klaus, I will see if they can give me the readout and report back. Checked out the website and they are out of stock for my yr, so Im hoping for a wheel sensor too.

Hello, Before you do anything, go to www.AutoEcu.com These guys charge 50.00 bucks and get it back to you fast. I have had them do over 35 ABS modules and have never had a problem. Pauli
