2001 XC70 O2 sensors V70-XC70 2001

I just replaced my rear O2 sensor on the cat converter, and am looking to replace the forward one. Are both the sensors the same make? And, any tips on how to replace the forward one, it appears to be very difficult to get at.

Both sensors are Bosh, but different calibrations.

If you have the new one in hand, cutting the wire is an option so that you can slip a box end wrench over the nut. I suggest using a lot of penetrating oil and letting it soak into the threads. The new one will go in much easier.

Usually the rear O2 sensor lasts for over 150K miles, easily.
