Rear windshield washer pump V70-XC70 1998

I'm trying to find my rear windshield washer pump. I don't see it in front,
or the back. I must have some type of bastardised model of V70, none of the parts are where the manuals and experts say they should be.

As SF tried to explain, there is only one fluid container and 2 pumps. The front pump is attached to the bottom of the container and the rear is next to it. Access is by removing the filler neck to the container to see the second pump.

If you have help, someone can hold down the rear washer button while you listen for the pump in the engine bay. If you hear the pump and no fluid comes out the rear, then you will need to check the nozzle in the rear to make sure it is not clogged. A safety pin is good for this. Also check around the outside of the car for leaking fluid.

If you remove the filler tube from the reservoir you will see the pump for the V70-XC70 1998

tailgate washer right next to the opening. It is simply pushed into a rubber
grommet. It has an electrical connector and a tube connected to it. The windshield washer pump is on the bottom of the reservoir, by the way.

...tailgate washer right next to the opening..."
What opening??? I'm not a mind reader. Please provide details:

      1) Where is the rear windshield washer pump located?
      2) Where is the front windshield washer pump located?
      3) Do they share the same reservoir, or are there two?

      Thanks in advance!!!

All of your questions were answered in the previous responses.

The rear windshield washer pump, and the front windshield washer pump, are both located inside the washer fluid reservoir. They share the same reservoir, and are mounted right beside each other.

The 'opening' SF referred to is the opening for the filler neck, which KlausC indicated needed to be removed to see the pumps.

BTW, it's easy to hear the pump running if you leave the engine off and press the button to run the rear pump. If the pump is working you will hear it run in the front pass corner - Of course if the pump is broken you won't hear it.. As a bonus of this procedure, if you let it run for a minute there will be a puddle underneath the car in proximity to any leaks.

Well, looking under the fluid reservoir, I see 1 connector going to 1 pump on
the bottom. Bellow that is a tube with what looks like a filter.
Up from there is a 2nd connector going to nothing?! Yes, nothing...it's plugged into a female part which is clipped to the side of the reservior. There is NO 2nd pump visible. I guess 2nd connector is purposely terminated here...but where is the pump???

Someone might have removed the motor, but the wires that clip into the motor should still be there.

Looks like someone removed the pump. Can you locate the rubber hose going into the cabin?.try blowing through it.
