Lighting help! 850 1996

Hey

I want to change all the interior lights (dash and all the switches) to blue instead of that ugly green. I thought it would just be changeing the bulbs to blule........BUT there is like a plastic coating on the inside of the switches that makes the light comeing through them green!

Are the gauges the same?

And Can i change these lights/film to blue?????

    Read the other post about dash lights before you start mucking about behind the dash - and the answer is no, changing the bulbs will not change the light colour for the same reason as the switches.

    Sorry, if you want blue lights you'll have to buy another car.

      VOLVO TRIVIA. What year did volvo switch from white to green dash lighting. I believe it was 1962 with the change from 6 volt to 12 volt.
