    AC BLOWING WARM V70-XC70

CHeck your radiator for clenliness also. My AC blew hot air last year with the same symtoms as yours. I thought it needed to be charged or serviced. I needed to replace my radiator this spring and when I did my AC has been working perfect since. The old radiator was very plugged up so no air was flowing through it. I was very suprised once i saw it that my car wasn't overheating all the time. I was lucky it went when it did I think.

    Good luck,
    Ken

      Clean the radiator fins V70-XC70

Clean the radiator? What a simple suggestion! I love it!

I wonder if removing the fan is needed, thinking back flush with a strong garden hose. Of course, my water is so hard, the calcium is probably worse than the accumulated dirt :)

Just a charge, 1 can of r134a should do it. Make sure the can is not cold, shake it well, and do not turn it upside down when filling. Upside down will dump an ounce of PAG oil into your system which probably does not need it. A warm can will have more pressure than a cold one. Make sure the AC is on and compressor engaged for the duration of the refill.
