I have a ’95 850 Turbo that I have been struggling to find the cause of an oil leak for. I have fairly large amounts of blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe intermittently, but especially when accelerating up hills. The burning oil smell is now coming through my ventilation system and I can smell it in the car. When I pop the hood I can see oil that has leaked on top of the engine, around the oil filler cap. And after sitting for 36 hours, it produces 3 puddles of oil, each about 6 inches across. Two of the oil puddles are driver’s side, very close to center- one closer to the front and the other about 1ft and ½ behind that one. The other is on the passenger’s side.
I have already:
Rebuilt the turbo
Cleaned out PCV system twice and replaced the clogged Ventilator box
Replaced the leaking pressure hose for oil cooler
Replaced the oil pan gasket
Also of note, my check engine light indicates a bad O2 Sensor.
Any ideas?
