Again this I calling upon your wisdom: I am thinking about replacing in my wife's S70 SC-813 with SC-900 radio/CD changer. Has anyone done this? How difficult is it to do it? Is it merely a matter of unplugging the original radio and plugging the new system? Or do I have to do any additional adjustments? Any help in this regard will be deeply appreciated.

My V70 has a 3 cd changer and it is a pain. It takes 2 hands to change the CDs and cannot be done while driving. Then I forget what is on each CD! I would much rather have a single slot player with a 6CD in the back for road trips, like my 850 has.

They exist on Ebay and you can trade up at the dealer for about $225. Make sure you get the proper radio code!!

From what I understand the SC-813 has an amp built into the head unit but the SC-900 doesn't. You have to add an amp that sits under the passenger seat (or somewhere else you designate it to sit). I have no first hand knowledge but have read this of others' posts here and over on swedespeed.com You might want to confirm this before jumping into the swap.
