M56 manual trans is a +, 1998 is a + (P80 but no ETM), Not tan is a +, Your honesty is a +.

Yes, there is a contingent of enthusiasts out there who would part out your car for all parts, especially the "manual swap" for their turbocharged Volvo. I don't know what a manual swap is worth, but would expect at least $500 for that alone, double that for verified working example that can be driven home (as a start, sounds like yours is worth more).

Best of luck, and seriously, if you're coming to Connecticut...
