I just finished reading this thread.

The torque value is 110 ft-lbs. I got this by asking XeModex in Canada, what the value is, and that was the response.

I've replaced the filter, pulled the pump and cleaned its filter, which was not dirty at all, then added clean fluid. Not sure the oil was ever changed. Bought the car with 198k on it, and I now have 204k on it.

The rear diff fluid has been changed as well, and it was awful as well.

This weekend I tackle the transfer case rebuild. I pulled one out of an 06' S60 this past summer. It was leaking badly, and its bearing's were shot, so all of them are now off. The ring, pinion, and ring gear splines are in great shape, and to boot, this design has new beveled edge on the inside which makes for a better sealing.

I also had a bottom drain plug added to the unit so I can just drain it straight away with out having to suck oil out and then push oil back in.
