Yes, absolutely. The selling factor of FWD is being able to accelerate in snow and pull out, nothing more.

Volvos are light in the rear and can lose traction easily, IF you give it gas while turning in a low traction condition. Otherwise, Volvos are amazingly well balanced cars.

I had mine weighed. 3020 was the total. 1680 front, 1340 rear. This is a 55/45 weight distribution. VERY even. Not including the passenger.
