Starting a very retro V8 conversion

Have fun - that's what these are for. Save the driveshaft from the bird till you decide what you're gonna do about a driveshaft for the wagon - new one piece, or modded two piece. On the fuel system since you're diesel, I'm guessing you've got a lot of swapping out to do anyhow - I'd run a small electric pump at the rear and block off the mechanical pump opening on the carbed motor. Most of it you'll just have to figure out as you go. Others with more carbed experience will chime in I'm sure.
