Coolant temperature gauge on 240 with 338 V8 and 940 Radiator

Interesting, never heard of a 940 radiator being used in a 240 V8 conversion before. Any specific reason he did that? Or you did that?

I have a 240 diesel radiator you can have for $20. It was in good condition when I took it out a few years ago, but it's been sitting around since then. I'll check it out some time. It was a Nissens all metal radiator, and I never had cooling problems with it.

Also, the custom Howe radiator I had made was pretty reasonable cost wise. See pics here:

Also, you might want to check temp with a thermocouple or an IR thermometer, because the 240 temp gauge can fluctuate a bit without a lot of real change in coolant temperatre. Something related to the temp compensation board.
