Looks like the big thing to tackle in this swap would be interfacing the Volvo trans module with the GM engine control module (aside from the mating of the engine/trans, which is doable but still tough). Probably not a huge deal with enough wiring manuals and time, but enough to make me hold off until I can either afford a rear mounted Corvette C5 transaxle/torque tube setup OR just abandon this project and move on. I guess I'll boost the L5 til it blows and then worry about it. Thanks for the input!
