Hi,

I'm just back from DMV with my new ticket to ride...

a Ford 302 under a 142S hood. The PO did the conversion, but it has a C4 tranny w/o overdrive and a 3.73 open rearend (borrowed from a 164). Works fine, but obviously I can't give you highway mileage or rpm other than theoretical. I think it's gonna be about right for traffic on Long Island, NY, but a tad high rev-ing for the open road.

Just another data point.
