      Hi Mr. Yount,

      I'm about wholly illiterate with engine swaps into Volvo; certainly the awesome V-8 work you've detailed here.

      Yet the various facebook pages or groups seem not to be exhaustive in their knowledge. as far as I can tell. So, in those groups, I always turn them on to the brickboard.com RWD and V8 and what have you.

      Sort of why I post this stuff here on occasion as a way of vetting it.

      Like some V8 swaps put in such powerful engines, yet do nothing to the factory engine support member, save welding on different mounts, the engine support member breaks in one post instance. They repaired it somehow. More welding?

      There is another 240 V8 swap for sale in Detroit on the craigslist there that is mention in a Jalopnik article. I post in the V8 240 for sale thread I keep going. It appears many RWD Volvo for sale, stock, souped up, and swapped, yet fewer buyers. Hope that helps.
