STS Machining--new 28mm front bar with "drop' for V8

Just saw this:

http://www.stsmachininginc.com/products/28mm-240-1975-1993-front-drop-v8-sway-bar

Pretty interesting that somebody is making these again. I wonder how they are?

Some other cool stuff too (motor mounts for LS- engines, adapters for S60R calipers, etc.)

Hmmmm . . .

I bought one of the 28's -- will have my 25mm IPD drop bar for sale once the new one arrives. Thanks for the heads up.

Swap coming along - engine compartment painted and am in process of routing harness, plumbing, etc. in advance of dropping engine/tranny back in. Clutch, mount plates, etc. all buttoned up, tranny hung -- all ready to drop in.

Thanks for the pictures--and really NICE work! Please post how the 28mm bar works out.

Still fooling around with our old 5.0 conversion (did it in late 1995), though I may be putting it up for sale soon. I've got an old 914 that's keeping me busy . . . .

You and I may have two of the oldest conversions still around - yours done in late 95 and mine in early 96!

Yours is a 4-light front end, no? If I do decide to sell it/swap the running gear into a newer car I may have some headlights for you :)

or would that be ::) ?

Yes - a Swedish "4-eye". I'm good on lights -- Euro Hella 4x6's with 100W bulbs on separate relays. Will fry eggs at 50'.....

                  OK, good, just checking . . .

I'm running similar set-up (Marchals); the only problem is the "photon drag" when all four lights are lit up
                  :)

Same 300$ as the 28 mm V8 drop bar.

Hope that helps. Saw this on the:
