Need manual trans info from Converse kit, trade auto trans info?

Hello, I am working on a 242/Ford V8 swap. I bought an unused Converse kit for an automatic trans swap a couple of years ago. Body restoration and suspension, (and garage expansion and a full knee replacement!), have kept me busy while I kept on the lookout for a Mustang/Explorer donor car for the engine. I have a Mustang T5 manual trans.
I will gladly trade the info pertaining to the auto trans install for the manual trans info. Many, many repeated attempts to contact Ross Converse have failed completely, so I'm assuming they are gone and there is no issue with sharing the info, but, hey Ross, if you are out there, PLEASE give me a shout! Does anyone still have the manual trans/clutch, etc info from Converse? Yes, I do have a copy of the JTR Chevy swap manual that uses the odd "sideways" Camaro trans and I know I can figure out the manual trans issues on my own, but since others have already dealt with this, I would sure like to study their solutions.
And yes, as has been stated many times before in relation to the Converse kits, it was definitely underwhelming to open the box and see what it contained. Thank goodness I didn't pay full retail! The printed instruction manual left a LOT to be desired too, but in the end what you're paying for is knowledge and experience, not necessarily product.
Don't see a copyright on anything, so to all you lawyers out there; any problems with posting a copy of the instruction manual here? Don't want to get sued.

Mine is an '82 242 w/5.0L and T5. Cable actuated clutch, cable driven speedo. I've got the JTR Chevy small block into Volvo book, some sort of Converse 'manual' (also includes lots of other articles about driveshafts, Ford efi, etc. - all loose leaf bound in plastic sheeths in a paper binder) and a 42 minute Converse VHS video on the swap.

The V8's been in mine for almost 20 years (96 swap) - and I didn't do the swap although I've had the whole thing apart playing with engine/exhaust mods.

I'm happy to send you what I have (you got a VHS player?) --- just need you to send it back when you're through.

I've also got to think this isn't too complex. You've got to fit the clutch cable end to work with the arm on the Ford bellhousing; get the T5 speedo gear/tranny seal fitting (from a Stang) attached to the end of the Volvo speedo cable, run your back up light wires down to the reverse switch. And the tranny mount is just a 3"x5" piece of 1/4" plate steel that's bolted or welded to the Volvo cross member with holes drilled to fit the Mustang tranny mount. Once you've driven it and see where you are on speedo accuracy, you may be able to select a different number of teeth speedo gear to correct.

If you want the info I have shoot me a mailing address. You can send me back a few bucks to cover mailing when you return the stuff.

Mike,
I have attempted to send you a message off line at your gmail address. THANK YOU!! for your very generous offer! No such thing as too much info, right?
If email did not reach you, please let me know at LSKE48124@YAHOO.COM use "Volvo parts" or similar to avoid accidental delete.
Even though it's been below zero for a month; last week, AIR TEMP. not wind chill in Ann Arbor, about 25 miles West was 30 below, spring is near. All the trees around here, maples and oak, even ornamentals, have budded, leaves ready to pop out. Just too cold to work in garage. Heater works, but concrete floor will give your feet frostbite.
Thanks again,
Doug

Didn't get an email Doug. I'll respond to the address above.

As for spring, ice storm here last week, couple of inches of snow yesterday and some are saying 5"-8" more tonight. Charlotte, NC for crying out loud. While the day lilies are trying to poke through the ground, trees don't have anything resembling buds yet. I don't think "spring" means what you think it means. LOL!
