you don't know how good you've got it

My sister recently gave me a 96 Lincoln Towncar. It was the last car she and her late husband bought together. Her kids had passed it around doing little more than putting gas in it..
Other than being horribly complicated, it really is a sweet car. I've replaced the front window regulators, and the rear suspension. I have ordered parts to replace "the usual suspects" on the front end....which for how frigin big the thing is remarkably straight forward
I've been asking sorta get acquainted questions...like why is the ABS compressor running all the time, how do i bleed the ABS system (which is not for the faint of heart)How do i change the SRS air bags.... I got one good reply when I told them what I'd done so far.....but no one knows enough to tell me how to address the issues I have at hand
I have seen mundane questions answered time and time again, w/o any obvious grousing. The forums are divided up so you can find info on what you need w/o wading through ten years and seven models of cars you have no interest in.
So I'm going to fix up the front end, address the Blend door problem, spiff it up and sell it....and look for another Volvo
For the luv of Mike the work shop manual weighs over 9 pounds....
I really can't do this car thing w/o some back up....and the brickboard is where i turn first
Thanks again for all y'all do.
So i'm lookin for an 88-93 240-740 no turbos
