Great story! As far as hobbies go, RWD Volvo ownership is tops! Easy car to work on, cheapest car to buy parts for, lots of fun to work on, great highway runner, and never a worry in the world!

I always wanted a 240, and when I got mine a few years ago for $360 the fun began. It needed lots of work, but all of it has been fun and cheap! To me it's been like a hobby, and in my opinion it's the most useful hobby around because it pays you back with a useful car that lasts as long as you're willing to keep up with it.
