Audi story

You think you have problems? My wife called as she pulled out of the parking lot, about 30 minutes away from here. "Something smells like it's burning!" So I told her it was -4F and just keep on going.
She called again while waiting at a traffic light just 1 mile away, "It's coming from the engine compartment and smells really bad." Keep on driving...
So, I met her in the garage as she pulled in. There was a nice glow under the car, a flickering yellow light. Her car was on fire!
I pulled the hood release, raised it and between the block and firewall was this nice flickering light. Now, there is very little room in the engine bay for an A4 with a 6cyl engine. But after blowing a few times, I managed to get the fire out.
That garage is now very cold and stinks to high heaven! After dinner, I guess I have to put on gloves, hat, coat, etc and take a look. There has to be a blown oil hose somewhere. It was dripping on the Cat converter, I think. There is just no room in that engine bay.

Maybe she would like a new S60R???
