I wouldn't consider tools from NAPA or Ace to be of better quality than Sears.
Here's how I would rate them:
3) Napa/Ace/True Value - Good/Homeowner Quality
2) Sears (Craftsman) - Very Good/Boardering on Professional Quality/in some cases they are professional quality
1) Snap-On/MAC - Excellent/Professional Quality (overpriced/overkill for typical DIY home tech... but magnificent tools if you have the means)
Just my 2 cents... aguably worth that.
