Never heard of a piston flushing, maybe a radiator flushing. Also do you have a 16Valve engine, or the 8Valve engine? Anyways, the older 740 are great cars, hang on to them. Mine '88 745GLE
lasted way over half a million miles, until I was forced to sell it.
