Engine Code Question 200 1993

Fixed the throttle position sensor (TPS) problem.

I noticed they make the TPS a little more tamper proof than on earlier models. This one appeared to be solid rather than two pieces snapped together. I drilled a hole in the top and the side and shot tuner bath through the holes until it came out clean. It first came out oily. I rotated the switch the whole while so that the contacts would clean themselves. I then plugged the hole with that permatex black goo and reinstalled.

Tuner bath works every time for me.

I'll try the RPM sensor swap in the AM.
