Need a new muffler (again) BETTER than starla.. options??

This winter I replaced the whole exhaust system with parts from fcpgroton, including a starla rear muffler. Six months later the seam on the top of the muffler has opened up causing an annoying exhaust leak, so its time for another muffler. I should have learned my lesson before (replaced the exhaust system beacuse of a broken starla muffler this winter) but I would rather put in a custom muffler setup or alternate brand. The rest of the exhaust system is brand new.

Any ideas on what people have used in the past\present that would work well? I am not opposed to a higher performance muffler, as long as its not a super loud ricer sound. I did the straight pipe thing for a month before I installed the new exhaust and it was louder and more annoying than anyone would expect.

Thanks for the suggestions,
