Jumpy Speedometer

My speedometer needle seems to work fine most of the time, Occasionaly it will jump or skip which I assume is due to the cable hanging up a bit. Grease or a new cable would probably address it.

But, why does it twitch up to about 25 MPH once in a while while I am sitting at a light? Just sitting there, waiting for the light to change and "pop", it twitches.

Same issue I assume.....or it's had to much caffeine?
