more engine leaks! 140-160 1968

I understand it is possible to do this by dropping the tranny and jacking up the engine, blocking it and lowering the jack away... But I do these sort of jobs by removing the whole shebang (I'm a nut;).

The tranny will have to come off no matter what to get the holder off, seal replaced and holder back on.

While you are in there check the tranny input shaft cover for a leak there too.

Is your PCV system functional? If not, fixing that may solve your leak troubles without the hassle.
