what is the longest wiper I can get away with for the rear of my '86 740 wagon?

They have a buy one get one free deal at the local parts place and I want to get one for the rear of my 240 wagon, so It would be nice if I could get the same size.
The book lists a 17"for my 240, but it lists everything from 11"to 15"for the 740 ( my 240 has a 16"on it now that looks like it would work )
