I finally found her 140-160

That is a good feeling. I came pretty close to that. Got a 145 here in Chicago from a kid who moved from Oregon, all solid underneath. At one time it got bumped pretty hard in the front drivers corner, so that was bent back into shape and I had to compensate with a little suspension adjustment (+caster) but it drives very nice and has no extra ventilation.

So how far to restore it? Not that far, for me. Preservation is the key word, and since I drive it daily, I have to face the fact that accidents happen, so I try not to get too attached.

Thick paint all over, shined up nice, sandblasting and rust treatment where needed. Added a T5 and rebuilt the engine. Put in 240 seats. Still a bit lumpy and still bright orange, and I respect it.
