I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to replace the stock metal sunroof in the 740 line with a glass one. Don't the 960s have glass sunroofs? If so, because the models are essentially the same body design wise, especially in the earlier years, would it be possible to buy or find the glass sunroof and put it in a 740? The only thing I can see that would be a problem is that the sliding cover might not have much room. My sunroof mechanism broke, so I need to fix it this summer and I was hoping to maybe replace it with glass while I'm at it.
