Keith,

Have no answers for you, but my '91 is doing exactly the same thing. In addition my speedo will not go beyond 65mph. Found a guy via internet in Austin, TX who has a speedo shop. He states our circuit boards have a common bad capacitor problem which he can correct for $250.

For $250 I can live with the present situation (odometer is fine). Would appreciate it if any fellow brickboarders with good speedos and 90's model turbos will tell us what speeds match up with 2000, 2500, and 3000 rpms.
