ignition switch problem? 700 1985

Gentleman

i've always been able to leave my headlights on and when turning off the igniton thte headlights would go off.

I now have a problem where they won't go off and i've noticed that if I leave my radio on it won't go off either when the key is turned off.

does this sound like a worn ignition/auxillary switch?

any trouble shooting meathods to suggest?

Battery is wearing down and I'm not sure what else might be on/drwing power.
