i own an 88 760 turbo sedan with independent rear suspension, because of this feature the gas tank was designed to accomodate the independent rear suspension and so the tank has two halves. because of this somewhat different design the fuel filler line has a fork in it that goes to the half of the tank on the passenger side of the car. i filled my tank carefully but it always leaked if i pumped too fast, and it always leaked when the car was almost full of fuel. a volvo mechanic told me about the trap door in the trunk to access the in tank fuel pump. if you pull back the trunk liner you will find this door, (on my car anyway) 4 10 mm bolts and you can access the area , i did this at home and then went to the gas station filled up and crawled into the trunk and felt the fuel line and found my leak. that is of course if your car is similar to mine, i answer your query not beacuse i know for sure that this will help you being that your car is 9 years newer than mine but because i had the exact same problem. the dealer told me it would take them 3 hours at 70 bucks per and the hose was 50 bucks. i plan on fixing it this weekend. am curious to know if this helps you
