Noisy Throwout Bearing Lubricate??? 200 1988

I personally wouldn't try oiling it. There's too big a chance of getting oil on the clutch surface. If it does, you'll be changing the clutch again. The throwout on my 85 has been making noise about a year now. Sometimes it's loud, and sometimes it's quiet. I'm just trying to get as many miles as I can out of it before I change it and the clutch (kit). If it's a relatively new bearing, there is a good chance that It will quieten down over time, (there's also a remote chance that it'll freeze and cause big problems). Check the clutch cable adjustment to make sure it's not holding pressure on the throwout bearing when the pedal is released. I drive my car locally, so if it breaks, it's not a big problem, although I'm going out of town (fishing, 200 miles) this week and I'm driving this car. I'll get back (somehow), hopefully driving (not hauling) the old wagon. I'm just telling you what I would do. I've seen noisy throwout bearings last a long time and very few fail completely and cause breakdown. I've also never tried to oil one. Other people's experience will vary.
