V90 Heater Vents S90-V90

Have completely scrubbed the V90 over the past few days. The vents that were very dirty I removed and cleaned in soapy washing up liquid water....they have now got an off colour as well as the plastic on the dashboard that surrounds them (how do I change the plastic surround also as that is also discoloured)....also the clear plastic glass on the instrument panel has gone an off colour in places as well.....how can this have happened with just washing up liquid and how can I get it back to normal.....I need to change the vents as they are broken anyway (do I need another V90 as I notice the vents on my uncles 940 arent the same for the middle vents...or will they be the same on a 960) any advice is much appreciated as the dash looks horrid at the moment....I think the glass perspex on the instrument panel is dirty on the inside....how would I remove it to clean....does it involve removing the steering wheel.
