I would've guessed a couple hundred, adding the water pump pushes the price up a bit but it's a no-brainer to replace it now if it needs it. Probably a bit steep, but see what the others say. I'm accustomed to doing my own, <$30 belt, around $50-$75 tensioner, $130 water pump (all $CDN), and a couple hours of my time. I guess if $500 is their worst-case price, it may not be too far out of line. Did they say how many hours' labor they would be billing?
