The window switches have "keys" on each corner so that they only fit into one location in the switch cluster. The switches themselves are the same.
If you slice the keys off the corners of the back door switch, you can insert it into the front door location. You can still put the back door window down with the back door switch.
However, the other post is correct - the best course of action is to clean the switches as the FAQ shows. When you get then apart you will see how the "up" contacts are much dirtier and burnt because pushing the window up uses more electrical current. I filed the contacts smooth and turned the contact rocker around so that the "up" contacts are like new. Good for another 200k.
Because I already knew how to take the door panels off, I rebuilt all 7 switches in less than 1 1/2 hours.
