940 Brake Job 900

FWIW, I've never used that kind of rubbery anti-squeal paste that dries, but haven't had a brake squeal in more years than I can recall.

I'm not knocking the drying type, but I've always used a silicone-based goop/grease like Sil-Glyde. That's what I'm currently using on my 940's Axxis pads.

NAPA sells a full 4 oz. tube of Sil-Glyde for $4.79. Ipd gets $5.00 + shipping for the 0.7 oz. size. That's 7/10ths of an ounce! I'm glad Ipd is around, and buy enough from them to stay on the catalog mailing, but IMO that's an outrageous markup. (495% if my math is right.)
