Living in a area not requiring smog checks, if my O2 sensor is bad, can I disconnect it at the firewall without negative effects on the computer or do I need to somehow close the circut so the computer doesnt know it is gone? If at sometime I would like to remove the cat. converter, how would the computer adjust for this lack of information? If my o2 sensor is bad and the car thinks it all of a sudden is running to rich and compensates, how would not having an o2 sensor effect this?
