AC compressor seal replacement

does anyone have the procedure for replacing the AC compressor shaft seal on a Sanden 5 seriese ( 508/510 ) compressor?
I bought a seal kit from NAPA today and it appears to have a few more parts than on the exploded view of the unit on Sandens website.
